An impartial process.
About the Examiner
The practice was founded by Nataliya Panchenko, MSW, LCSW, a formally trained polygraph examiner with a professional background in clinical interviewing and behavioral health.
Nataliya completed formal polygraph examiner training at Marston Polygraph Academy, an American Polygraph Association-accredited training program.
Her polygraph education included areas such as psychophysiology, computerized instrumentation, test-question formulation, validated examination techniques, chart analysis, interviewing procedures, and professional standards of practice.
In addition to her polygraph training, Nataliya holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of clinical interviewing and psychotherapy experience. Her clinical background has provided substantial experience conducting sensitive interviews, communicating clearly, establishing professional rapport, and working with individuals who may be experiencing significant stress or anxiety.
Examinations are conducted in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
These skills can be particularly valuable during the interview portions of a polygraph examination. However, polygraph conclusions are based on the physiological data collected and analyzed using established polygraph procedures and appropriate validated techniques—not on clinical impressions or psychotherapy judgment.
Professional Philosophy
- Every examination is approached with objectivity, neutrality, professionalism, and respect for the examinee.
- The examiner’s responsibility is not to advocate for a particular result. The purpose is to conduct an impartial examination and report the information developed during that process objectively.
- That positioning is well aligned with California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE) stated standards emphasizing integrity, objectivity, fairness, voluntary participation, and factual and impartial reporting.
